The latest PwC bench was officially unveiled on Wednesday 11th June.
Speaking before the event, Tony McLaren National Coordinator for Breathing Space, said:
“We are delighted to partner with PwC to bring the Breathing Space message into the heart of the workplace. This bench is more than just a place to sit, rest, and enjoy Glasgow’s view. It’s a symbol of support, compassion, and the importance of mental wellbeing. We hope it encourages staff to take a moment for themselves and to reach out if they need support.”

PwC Market Senior Partner for Glasgow and Scotland, Jason Morris, added:
“As a firm, PwC is committed to prioritising the wellbeing of our people through resources, training and wide-ranging support. It’s fantastic for us to have a Breathing Space bench installed in our new Glasgow office. The bench isn’t just a place to sit it’s a reminder that it’s okay to take time to pause and find clarity in what can be a busy and chaotic world. The bench is an example of how small changes to our common spaces can make a difference, through being aware of our own mental health and how to reach out for support.”
This latest bench is part of a growing network of Breathing Space benches across Scotland, with over 70 benches now in place in parks, train stations, universities, and workplaces. Each bench serves as a visible reminder that it’s okay to not be okay, and that help is always available.
